From manufacture: Peluso built capsule p-k 47 for vintage Newman u47and u49 microphones. Bought this k47 capsule new from Peluso for a project microphone that I never ended up needing it. This is a new capsule built to original specifications. Never installed in a mic or sang into, like new.

The diaphragm has been skinned with a 6 micron gold-Mylar.
