Faceplate does have scratches in several places. Purchasing this plate you are accepting the purchase as-is. All plastic buttons are in working condition, however several of the right side digital meter appear to have white lines on backing connector, which may mean that joint break one connecting sides. See photos for close-up of the white lines in plastic on back buttons.

Buttons should not be pressed without the board backing since they can pushed farther than normal. Tascam DA-98 faceplate w/ 5 mounting screws. A few of the buttons have deep scratches on them. Buttons would still function with one connector, but it lean to that broken side.
